Let me start off my saying thanks for letting me join your club I have always loved the look of mariahs just never owned one yet. Just wondering if anyone could give me a ideal what price this boat should go for. I am new to boating and looking for a nice older Mariah. This is what I am looking at a 99 Mariah Shaba 212z has all covers and two sun tops and captains call exhaust 5 .0 mercury drive new trailer309 hours has been taken great care of. They are wanting 13000. question is is that to high for this boat what would be a good price.:)

Well, its a very good time to buy just about anything, including a boat. I have that same boat, just five years older and just became the owner this last fall, had it out twice and just enough time spent on it in the shop through the winter to come to love her. I think the price is likely about right for the year, maybe a little high, but the new trailer is a factor in that as well.

What you will find though is that the comparable boats in this year and price range are nowhere near the quality of the z series Mariah. You will enjoy the boat. I was able to get mine 3 grand less than the seller wanted, but thats all I could spend, and I had no idea how amazing of a deal I had just stepped into.

I actually have the exact boat your looking at (well, except mine has the 350 Mag :tongue_2:). Awesome all around boat. You'll love it!

$13,000 is a little on the high side. I wouldn't expect to get much more than $11,000 out of mine. But maybe that's just his starting point and you can talk it down a bit. Even $12,000 would probably be a fair price with the low hours and condition. Go for it!
