1998 Mariah Z210 Shabah Stringer System

Hi,

I purchased a mint condition Z210 Shabah with a 5.7 Merc coupled with a Bravo III a couple months ago. It runs beautifully and handles great. According to the promotional materials, it says that the boat had the new fully fiberglass stringer system with no wood used. I know from examining the ski locker that at least the center of the boat's floor is 3/4 CCA plywood. This was also confirmed as the gas tank access is a hinged wood panel. Can anyone verify whether or not my boat may still have the wood free stringer system or was it only late model '98's that went to the wood free construction.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks!

The integrated fiberglass stringer system is just that. It's just the stringer system that's fiberglass. They still use XL CCA pressure treated plywood throughout the rest of the boat.

I've attached a page from the 99 brochure which shows the stringer system construction in a little more detail. And also a page from the 96 brochure which shows the stringer system itself (the wood version).
