1991 2200z ltd-test run-problems
 
:confused:new to the club and new to this boat.bought the boat out of nevada lake mead elevation 1100ft.brought to my lake in nm at 4500ft.motor has about 50 hr since rebuild by machine shop in nevada-boat has 240 total hrs.motor is 454 magnum carberated with bravo1 out driveat 1.50 gear ratio and 21 pitch ss prop.motor runs great untill almost full throttle at 4200 rpm and then it starts to stumble.back it down to 4000 rpms and runs fine-not sure of speed as the digital speedo is not working nor is trim guage-i would sure love some thoughts from the pro's-thanks john.

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me.
Have you replaced the fuel filters?
It could be a weak fuel pump with low putput too.

No, but nobody gets paid to answer questions, either, so you have to wait until somebody happens along who has the time, inclination and knowledge to address your questions. (I have the time and inclination, but not the knowledge, for example.)

i will check the filters and fuel pump-sounds like a good place to start-thank you.
