Replacing Teleflex Steering
 

Alright so I've pretty much narrowed down my steering issue to the steering cable. I don't know how to check the hydraulic assembly on the transom, I already replaced the power steering pump to no avail. I was wondering if anyone happens to know what length cable or which part number from Teleflex I would need for my 1998 Shabah 202. I would take the old cable out and just measure it, but I don't want to be without a boat for the time that it would take to receive the new one. I also would be unsure of where to measure from/to, whether it starts and ends at the ferrules, or if the end of the rack is included in the measurement. I guess it would really be only an extra foot or so. What should I expect to pay for this? I just did a quick google search and it looks like I might be able to source one for about $125 including shipping, but don't know if it's exactly what I need.
