Grab bar on a 97 Talari
 

Hello to all! I am a new member to this site. Thanks to those who started it and I'm glad I found it!

I have a 97 Talari 221 and had a minor (yet major) problem this last week. I am now in need of the grab bar on the back of the boat. It is the bar that is along the swim platform It is about 51 inches long. It has a bend in the center that rises about ten inches ,then continues across about two feet then bends back down ten inches. Does any one know where I can get one? or am I going to have to have one custom made? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

That was a made 'in-house' item so you will likely have to have one custom made.

Just curious, what "problem" damaged a bar that big that you would have to replace it?

The problem came from a BIG Bertha tube that was thought to be secured to the ski eye but aparently the skipper(me :rolleyes:) didn't do it right! The tube wasn't being used at the time BTW, was just haulin it across the lake at the time. We used it later and still had a great week on the water. However that skipper has been FIRED!:yes_grin:

Or does someone have one lying around that they would like to sell?
