Smart Tabs

I have a 1997 Shabah that was purposing terribly and generally not "fun" at all. As a matter of fact, I had been so frustrated with it that I had starting shopping for a new boat. After reading a couple of posts on the topic, I figured I would try the Smart Tabs (in as much as they are pretty cheap).

They were installed last weekend. I took it our on Lake Lewisville last night and IT WAS AMAZING. LIKE A NEW BOAT. Bottom line- we are keeping the boat and shopping for a wake board tower!

Great I'm glad you desided to keep her. I dont think you could find a better boat. Any Pics, what size of boat.

I installed smart tabs on my boat last weekend. I used a picture of MikeyT's installation as a guide and mounted my tabs in the same location. Took the 202 shabah out yesterday on Lake Mead. Unfortunately, we had 20+mph winds so there was quite a bit of chop and I couldn't try out the tabs at WOT. What I did notice was the boat got on plane almost immediately, I can't wait to go out again and see if my porpoising problem is solved.

By the way, what adjustment hole did you have your tabs set to?

Rob
