Which Sub?
 

I am going to put a subwoofer in my 1999 182 shabah. I already installed new speakers and head unit and am putting another pair of speakers up in the bow. My question is whether to buy the bazooka bass tube and mount it under the passenger seat/rear facing jump seat or buy a regular marine sub and put it in a box and mount it under one of the rear seats. I am leaning towards under the back seat and just mount the amp somewhere close. I'm thinking just a single 10" running around 300 watts RMS. Just looking for inputs if anyone has done this before. Thanks

Also can you buy marine grade subwoofer boxes? I have been googling but am yet to find any. Thanks

Have a look at the JBL 1000 sub. self contained with built in amp. Great sound.

I have a 2 12" Pyle Drivers mounted between engine compartment and bench seat in a box... I also have a marine amp mounted to one of the sidewalls around the engine compartment... Would be glad to email you pic's of my setup if you want to give your email address... Havnet got around to figuring out how to post pics on here... Just let me know would be happy to help if i can....
