Doel Fin with smart tabs
 

I installed smart tabs on my 202 shabah today, and I think I read somewhere that you should not run a doel fin with the tabs. Is this correct, should I remove the fin before I use the boat for the first time with the new tabs?

Get rid of the Doel fin and use just the tabs.

I am soooo sold on the Smart Tabs. Did the ultimate test today. had a full tank of gas, my three women (2 daughters 17,20, and my chick) all on the aft pad. Last year the boat would NOT plane off ever with this loading. This year with the tabs, 4.2 seconds to plane!!! and held the plane at about 2400 RPM. Almost unbelieveable perfomance. PS: boat ran great for fathers day.

I would try the boat with the fin and without. It is all about time to plane and top end. compare both.

Get rid of the Doel fin before someone sees it on your boat and makes fun of you.
