Trim gage
Does anybody knows how to test an Trim Gage ,the rest is ok !!

Lower the outdrive and see what position the gauge indicates the outdrive to be in. If it shows all the way down, then that position indicated correctly.
Raise the outdrive to the trailer position and see what position the gauge indicates the outdrive to be in. If it shows all the way up, then that position is indicated correctly. From prior postings on this site, it appears that the sensor is usually the source of problems with the trim gauge. Search the forums for "trim gauge" and you wil find lots of posts on the subject dealing with cleaning the sensor. l :wink_thumbup: |
