Potential New Owner of a 1994 Z212
Hello everyone,
I'm currently looking into buying a 1994 Shabah Z212. One of the local boat shops took ownership of the boat after the owner failed to pay his $2600+ repair bill. The boat looks like it's been sitting outside without a cover for a while now and needs a lot of cleanup and TLC but on the plus side all of the $2600 was put into the engine so she should be running great. I should be able to take it home with me for under $6K and I'm thinking it would be a great first boat. Also, the NADA site lists the weight at 2700 lbs. Is this correct? I have a 2001 4Runner which should be fine for towing it the short distance to the lake but I just want to be sure. Anyway, if everything works out I might be a happy Mariah owner soon! Cheers! |

Hello and welcome,
The Shabah Z212 weight is listed at 2700lbs. The fuel tank holds 40gal. L.O.A......21'2" Max H.P. - Prop.......250-V8 Performance depending on what engine it has are as follows: 4.3 L.......43-48 4.3 LX......45-50 5.7 L .......52-56 350 Mag...55-60 As for weather your 4Runner will tow it or not, I'm not sure. Ahoy Ben and welcome to the club!
It's listed that the 2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4X4 has a max tow capacity of 5000lbs so you should be fine with your Z212. WetWilly |

Thanks for the info guys. My research also leads me to believe that I should be just fine towing it with my 4Runner... I'll post some pics if I do indeed wind up buying the Mariah.
