1/4 vs 3/8 inch fuel filter bracket
 

I just purchased a new fuel filter bracket and I got the one with 3/8 threads. When I took the old one off I noticed it has 1/4 threads. The other sides of both of these 1/4 threads out 3/8 outputs.

Do I need to have 1/4 inch threads or is there even a difference since both parts that hook up to the hose are 3/8.

If I understand correctly that both hoses are 3/8" it should work.
