Looking for my fuel line on a 94 shabah
 

I am installing a fuel flow indicator and want to make sure I have the correct line before I cut. Does anyone have a diagram or image of the fuel line and where it sits on the mercriser 350.

you should have only one fuel line going to the carb. i dont know where you going to splice it but it should go from carb to fuel pump and fuel pump to tank. they probally want the meter after the fuel pump.

will I need to take the carb cover off to see the fuel line. And yes they recomend that I splice after the fuel filter.

I'll look and see if once I take the cover off it becmoes obvious.

yes it will be a 3/8 rubber hose or a metall one. on my 454 there was a rubber hose to the fuel pump (lower left side) and a metal line from the fuel pump to the left side of carb.

Shouldn't have to touch the carb to get to the fuel line post pump and filter. There is probably an internal filter to the carb (I'm not sure about that), but you'd have to put the flow indicator on before that as once the gas enters the carb, there's really nothing to attach the indicator to.

Of course I'm saying this without having seen the device...

I found it. What threw me off was I was looking for a 3/8 hose and it turned out to be a metal hose. Once I found that I replaced the hose with a 3/8 and install the sensor after the fuel filter just like it recommends.
