Swim Platform Mariah 218 / 21SC
 

Will a 21SC swim platform fit my 2001 218? From what I can see, they are the same mold, and from the general concensus, Sea Fox purchased the original molds from Mariah. Ok, so I emailed Sea Fox and got the usual answer, your boat is pre-2002, we don't care and although we MUST know the answer (its quite a simple question), we are not going to tell you!

Don't want to get into a Mariah/Sea Fox debate, but maybe they need to be reminded, its the sucess of the original Mariah, that has enabled them to form any kind of business today, all customers are worth holding onto...

Anyway, what I would like to know is if I buy a Mariah 21SC platform for my 218, it will fit.

Many of you will say go to Swimplatforms.com, but since I live in the UK, and its going to be costly, might as well go for the proper thing!

I know one of our members, (indykoch) did some serious researching into whether the Sea Fox OEM swim platform would fit his '99 Z212 Shabah, and came to the conclusion it would. However he decided to go with a swimplatforms.com manufactured one due to cosmetic reasons. Here's the post where he describes his experiences. With you being in the UK, that might be a serious issue for shipping costs, but since Sea Fox Mariah is made here in the USA, I'm not sure their price would be any more affordable, after shipping costs across the pond. :)
