Hydrofoil fin recomendation

I am looking at putting a Hydrofoil fin on my prop and am not sure which one is best or what the real difference is. I am running the mercruiser 350 I/O 5.7L

Any suggestions or recommendations?

J

You'll find about 99% of the people here don't use hydrofoils. They use Smart Tabs.

Do a search for Hydrofoil and you'll see what I mean. Most people are removing them, not installing them! Smart Tabs are much more effective.

yeah....what ShabahZ250 said. There is no way that i would "recommend" a hydrofoil.

Sport Marine SE Sport 300 Hydrofoil, fits 35 hp - 300 hp engines

Have this hydrofoil on my boat.Helps to get up on plane faster for water sking.I don't use trim tabs but, they also help with leveling out the boats weight factor.

Another vote and testimonial for smart tabs. Best performance enhancement for the money. And the money is not much!
