Cool Owners Manual

Hello,
New to the forum and I want want to say hello and I love my Mariah. I've owned it for the past 4 years and never had any issues. It is a 1995 and still runs and looks great. It hasn't kept its original course and some transformations have been made...but I still would hate to let it go in these hard times. So I have several questions because I am now doubting what I own. So...

1. Can I get an owners manual?
2. Can anyone tell me what version of shabah I have?

This forum doesn't have the owner's manual for your boat. If you ask me, even if they had the owner's manual for your boat, you would find it useless. I have a 93 Talari which is not available, therefore I downloaded the 94. It's more about safety and how to navigate. When Mariah published their owner's manual, they were putting safety first and them more safetyand more safety in order to cover their butt like most business do.....

But, by becomer a member of this forum, it allowed me to download the entire book on the alpha drive (stern drive). Over 600 pages...... Which I printed at work......That alone is worth a lot more than $15 (silver member).

I must admit, I belong to 2 other forums online which are way better than this but have nothing to do with Mariah boats. One is for my snowmobile and the other for my motorcycle. Ski-doo and Yamaha are way bigger than Mariah, therefore more members, more info. We are fortunate that we have dedicated Mariah Sailors running this forum. I don't regret joining this forum one bit.

Although, I don't always get an answer to my silly questions, I keep coming back....No they don't have your owner's manual but you will find a lot of good info and documentation in here.

Chapeau to the dedicated dudes running this forum !

    Rick

Mariah had 2 versions, the standard package which is a nicely equipped boat and the "Z" version, which normally had 2 colors on the top deck, windshield wiper, defroster, power deck lift and other options too numerous to mention.

Based on the interior, and what I could see of the dash, looks like you have the standard model.

Hi Eroc_g and welcome to the club!

Send your Hull ID number to ShabahZ250, he may be able to tell you what you have, click here.

As Snowaterdude said, we don't have a '95 owners manual as of yet, but most of the manuals are similar, to access the manuals, you will need to become a contributing member, click here to see what each level has to offer.

    Good luck,
    WetWilly

I have a 1995 Shabah 202 with a 5.0 LX Merc. that had 40 hours on it when I bought it in Oct 1995 when it was 8 months old. I received all of the info that came with it from the original owner. That included the sale documents and owners manual, warranty card, etc. One of these items, the "Customer's Stub" identified my Shabah, which has an interior that looks exactly like yours as a "Mariah 202 Shabah."
The owners manual is not worth the paper it is written on for a specific model. It is basically a generic manual. None of the specs for my mariah are included and the wiring diagrams do not correctly represent the electrical system. In fact, the manual says "Your Mariah may differ from the general diagrams shown on the following pages." The manual doesn't even indicate the capacity of the gas tank.
Thankfully, just shortly after I bought my Shabah, I ordered from Mercruiser the engine service manuals (books one and two), marine accessories service manual (remote controls), and parts catalogs for my boat. At least, I have these items if I have an engine problem, which, knock on wood, I have not had up to now.

I got all the available manuals for my boat (96 Shabah 200 Ltd) as well, the Mariah one is generic. When I get time I'll scan them in & upload them for the members-
