Depth finder
I have a 1998 Shaba with the hockey puck style depth finder. It has come free and I want to know what I should use to "glue" it back in place.

Re: Depth finder
draw an outline of your transducer with a pencil, build a round "dam" out of any type of caulking, about a 1/4" high and just on the outside of your pencil line. Now fill the inside of your dam about 1/8" deep with epoxy, or 3m 5200 high-perfomance polyurethane adhesive/sealant (you can purchase these products at any boat shop). push your transducer into the adhesive with a twist, apply a weight (a book)on top of it and wait 24 hrs. You'll be good to go. You may want to test your transducer in a small bowl of water on the spot before your mount it, just in case it's defective....
