Overheating problem update

Hello All

I'm happy to say that the overheating problem has been solved. I was due to the kink in the water intake hose located behind the outdrive.
We did the a WOT test, even with a little old gas still in the tank and some new hi test put in, we were able to hit 50 mph, 4400 RPM max. Thanks to some new trim sensors, we can see where were at on the trim level.
These boats cruse great between 25 and 40 mph.

PS, we even had the bimini top up at high speed.

Hope everyone has a safe & happy holiday.

thanks

I had the EXACT same problem.

Kinda funny how it takes a Mercruiser tech about 30 seconds to find the problem, inform you that the part costs about $20, and requires 5 hours of work to fix! :rolling_laugh:
