Gearing for 1990 2000XL
 
Where do i find the gearing ratio for a 5.7L Aplha 1 for my 1990 2000XL. I'm looking at propgod to find a new backup prop, but do not have the gear ratio for the boat.

Also, does anyone know the HP for the 5.7L in 1990.

Hi RVSwisher,

Your gear ratio is stamped in the silver strip of the Mercruiser decal attached to the port side of your outdrive upper assembly. The 1990 carbed 5.7L had 250HP.
