90 lbs gas springs too much?
 
Do you think 90 lbs pressure in each gas spring that lifts the rear sundeck/motor cover on a Shabah is too much? That is what is in both gas springs and they are both locked open and one of the mounts that hold the spring on to the boat has pulled away. This could have happened when someone tried to close the lid and the springs were locked out. I have to get replacements and I'm just not sure the SL34-90 is original to the boat. Your comments would be helpful. Thanks

Thanks for the confirmation on the gas springs. I ordered a pair from Discount Marine in PA around $50 (Total) including the shipping.:wink_thumbup:
