Fuel range
 

As my fuel guage doesn't work, can anyone give me a rough idea of the range I can expect at say 30mph with 6 adults in calm sea? My boat spec says 50 gals (I think this equates to about 35 galls UK.)

Sounds like your fuel guage sending unit may be bad. Do a search on the forum here for "sending unit" and you should be able to find some help with fixing it. It's not difficult.

As far as range, you could probably figure about 8 or 9 gallons per hour at about 3000 RPM. That's constant running - stopping and starting will eat more, but you should be able to run a good 5 hours constant at that speed.

The sender is really easy to access. Flip the back seat forward and there will be a hatch in the floor just forward of the engine compartment. Open that and you have acess to the fuel tank and the sending unit.
