Cable running to leg
I just inspected the belows on my Bravo 1, looks O.k. but I found a cable of sorts that runs below the belows into the leg. The rubber boot that covers this is damaged. Is it critical that I have this repaired ASAP ? and what does it do ?

Re: Cable running to leg
That would be the bellows on the shift cable. Not sure about the Bravo drive, but on an Alpha it needs to be replaced because you'll take on water if it's leaking.
I'd replace it just as a matter of course. |
Re: Cable running to leg
Hi Colin,
Z202's is absolutely right, any faulty bellow could allow water into the boat or leg and that spells trouble, so I would do as he suggests and replace it before putting your Mariah in the water. WetWilly |
