Where does this go?
 

I found this in one of the storage compartments in my 94 Davanti Z235. Anybody know what it is or where it goes?:confused:

Looks like either a cushion support (acts like a ledge to mount a filler cushion) or maybe a guide that goes on the bottom of a cushion and aligns it to the proper position.

What storage compartment was it in?

agreed, I have similar nylon support pieces throughout my boat, but not sure of the exact location of that piece. I have a small bag of Mariah droppings from unknown locations. When I open my boat in the spring I'll have a look.

I found where it goes.... Right under the rear edge of the drivers captains seat, to help hold the webbed pocket on the back of the seat.

would you happen to know where to purchase that type of nylon/plastic. I'd like use it to re enforce under the bow cushions.

Not sure where you find that...

Perhaps some 1x2 hardwood glued and screwed on it's edge to the bottom of the plywood would be stiffer and stronger?

You could buy one of these ski hatch doors and cut to the sizes you need.
