Hello I'm new on this site and glad to find fellow Mariah owners. Here is my Z235 ( sticker on window) 26 footer. I was told it was a talari I believe. It has a 454 bravo I. I love it but would like to learn more about it. Also I would love to replace the shield decals on the side, any one know where ti find them?

no go on the stickers or any real replacement stuff

Supposedly I've heard you can get the new style logos and shields from Sea Fox Mariah. They are Silver colored instead of gold, but only the true purist would notice the difference. Give them a call and let us all know how it turns out. I'm curious to know myself!
What else would you like to learn about your boat? This is definitely the place to find answers to your questions. Ask away, we're all here to help. |
I'm wondering about your 26' statement. I was under the impression the boat model was indicitive of the overall length. (i.e. a 235 is 23' 5" in length). I know my 202 is 20' long, and other members' boat models seem to follow this pattern of matching model # to overall length. Anyone know for sure?
btw, I keep the extra 2" a secret from the marina, cause they charge warfage by the foot, and they always round up. ;) |
yea my 182 is 18'2"

24'
You are right the old boy that sold it to me stated a 26 foot but after loking at paper work it is on paper as a 24 foot. I love the boat and will post more pictures soon.:(

Side Mariah "shield" logo emblems are available and they are about $15 canadian. I purchased two "new" design (silver outline) emblems for the side of my boat back in May. Mine were both missing when I purchased the boat last year.
Just found my original post on trailerboats.com (indykoch and I had spoken about this back in March), part number of the "new" mariah shield emblem is #2399. http://www.pridemarinegroup.com/wiki...ide_of_Muskoka This is probably the only Mariah dealership in Ontario that I know of. Downside is you have to email service or sales to get parts. I have sent them an email to add a parts email conact link. I do have the parts managers email address on my home computer. |
Original employee here. A little info about your 235. It was the longest lived model that Mariah built. We built several 18' 19' 20' etc.. models with the same designation but redesigned the boat itself. The 235/2350 cuddy cabin was built without change from (if memory serves) 91 to 97. We had a philosophy of a 25% change each year to each model to keep things fresh but the 235/2350 was so popular that it stayed the same for its entire run. Management wanted to do away with it several times to entice dealers into the newer bigger cuddy models but the 'ol 235 was in too high of demand. Solid, solid boat. Hope you enjoy it!
P.S. Auto Trim Design was the company that did our original decal work and I believe that they are still available from them. Try the Cape Girardeau Mo. location. |
