Boat Auctions

Hi Gang, I'm looking at a boat up here in Canada that is going to be shipped to an auction in two weeks if it doesn't sell. The marina is calling me looking to move it out before the deadline. The salesmen will get no commish if it moves along, but how desperate will they get? If the boat does go to auction what would the cost be to the marina? 10% of sale price?? What would the traditional market price be for a boat below NADA 10%, 20% ??? If anyone has any insight (or an opinion) into this I would appreciate the education. Trying to keep as many dollars free for gas and winterstorage fees.....

PS the boat is a 2000 Z222, 350 MAG mpi List 24900

Thanks,

It is a buyers market for boats right now. Make them a lowball offer and go from there. not seeing or knowing the condition of the boat I would say start them at 15000 if it is in average condition.
