Mariah 182 vs 222
 

Hi all,
New member and potential buyer of a Mariah in the next week. I have two Mariah boats local to me for sale and wanted to see if members would be kind enough to give me their opinions between the two.

One is 2000 182 bowrider with a brand new 4.3 engine with lots of recent work done for $12,500

The other is a 1999 222 with a 5.0 engine with 326 hours for $8500.

I have a truck so can tow either properly. Both are in very nice shape and look to be taken care of. I would be using the boat for local lakes and rivers primarily for cruising and taking the kids tubing, skiing, etc.

Any thoughts are appreciated as to which route I should go!
