Attachment 1029Had the boat for 1 week now, and loving it. She is very smooth on the water and easy to handle. Since i bought this boat used i don't have a manual. Just wondering were would be the antenna for the am fm radio, i can't get sound out of the speakers but the display on radio works any suggestions. Also is the bilge pump automatic, i do have a switch on dash to turn it on.

Looks great! Congrats!

Have you tried a CD/Tape in the stereo? Other than tracing wires, I'm not sure what your problem could be. Look on the back of the stereo - there should be a larger, black cable attached (usually on an upper corner of the housing). That should be your antenna - see where it goes from there. I've seen wires running up to a windshield mount and utilizing it as an "antenna". May be what you have.

I'm not sure for your year Mariah, but most bilge pumps are automatic and manual. There should be a float switch located next to the pump in the bilge. Lift it up and see if it works. If it doesn't have one, and you plan to wet slip it, I'd highly suggest upgrading to one. Just peace of mind...

Radio

Thanks for the info. It has only a tape deck and radio. I put the tape in it and didn't work. Looks like its toast. Any suggestions were to buy a stereo for boat online?

As for purchasing a stereo online, look at Crutchfield or Sound Domain.

If you don't mind "grey market" stuff, check out eBay.
