What's a z302 with a 502 worth?

I'm looking at one for the lake of the Ozarks. It's clean but not perfect. Replaced engine and out drive. Comes with an 'ok' trailer. I don't see many of them for sale. I'm just curious what you guys think the range is on a 25 year old boat.

Really depends on how well it has been kept and how much you want it. That is a wonderful boat model that about every owner really enjoys. I have the model below it at 27 feet and love it. The hull itself should be strong, so if it is clean now then you are good. The engine is a good one with the 502, I have the 454, and I assume it has the Bravo 3 outdrive which is great. Would check the company who replaced the engine/outdrive and google their reviews and reputation.

Other than that, go over the boat in detail, check electronics, vinyl, covers - all of which will cost $$ to replace.

If in great shape, I could see it going for $35-40k, if in good shape, easily $25-35K. If you plan on trailering it alot, may consider replacing the trailer sooner than later. I haven't stayed up on the current boat market, but these models hold their value well since they are pretty unique, kinda like an old Cadillac, and people like the mid-cabin open bow design.

Look through the gallery at the 302 models, some have done really cool things like OregonDunes and SCBStewart.
