Transom Mounted Trim Switch

Did any Mariah boats come stock with a transom mounted trim switch? I just bought a '95 Z275 and it doesn't have one.... Seems like a small thing to add that really helps when you are working on the out drive. After changing the gear oil today, I will be adding one soon.

My 98 Jubilee has one. They are nice. I believe you can buy one from Merc and they are plug and play for those that wish to add it on. All boats should have them!

The later boats had them but they were optional in the earlier boats. S&S is correct though, you can buy a plug & play transom mounted switch which is fairly easy to install. Here's the wiring diagram...

Mine didn't have a transom mounted trim switch either. I purchased a plug and play switch and mounted it. I also mounted a momentary double throw single pole switch in my anchor locker (in the bow) and wired it into the trim solenoids so i can raise my outdrive into trailer position while standing on my trailer hitch when loading at the ramp.
