Water in engine oil

I have a 4.3l mercruiser V6 and when I checked the engine oil a few weeks ago it was very creamy, so I drained it and was advised to change the intake manifold gaskets which I did and cleaned out the crack case as best I could. Having replaced the intake manifold gaskets, oil and oil filter I took it on a test run for a couple of hours and having checked back in the engine, the oil is back to the same creamy state it was in before. Is there anything else that could be causing it apart from head gaskets or a cracked block? I have done compression tests on each cylinder and they are all very similar so I find it hard to believe that it would be the head gaskets.

Thanks in advance,
Jamie.

I would perform a leak down test on each cylinder. You either have a leaking head gasket a cracked block or heads.
