Potential leaking in Hull

Hi everyone,

I seem to have an issue with my boat leaking. This afternoon when I went to check on her she was full of water and after I emptied as much as I could I could still hear water coming in. Thankfully we got her lifted out onto the trailer.
She is a 214 Davanti.

As far as I can see it seems to be coming in around the drain for the locker on the back platform. I can see that the seal around it doesn't seem too good. However, on closer inspection there seems to be another hole beside it. As far as I can see, this seems to be a hole directly through the Hull - it's approx 2mm wide. Does anyone know if this is there for a reason? It seems to perfect a hole to have not been man made.

I cant seem to add an attachment unfortunately so I had thought I could have uploaded a photo.

Thanks in advance!

You have to hit "Go Advanced" and then scroll down to 'Manage Attachments" and follow the prompts to upload a pic. First thing i would check (very closely for splits) is the bellows.

+1 on bellows. Shift cable or drive shaft. If either is bad replace both along with gimbal bearing after the water intrusion. Bravo or Alpha drive? Kits are pretty reasonable if you have the tools and ability. If not, get on a list to have it repaired. Shops are at least 4 weeks out around here. Considering labor and time out it you'd probably be ahead to buy the tools for the gimbal bearing and check out some youtube "how to's". Either drive is pretty straight forward.
