Hi jsk9675,

The 97' 209 weighs in at about 2850lbs for the 4.3L, so let's error on the safe side and say your Talari weighs in around 2950lbs.

Heavier if you have a lot of gear (toys) stowed aboard. :wink_thumbup:

For what it's worth, my 1997 Z210 Shabah with a 5.7LX Alpha weighs in at 4,600 pounds on its Chariot tandem trailer. That's on a certified scale, detached from the tow vehicle. I think the trailer is about 1,000, so that leaves the boat at about 3,600 pounds, which is heavier than I would have guessed.

Regards,

Wow, Captain Steve, time to put your Shabah on a diet!!! :rolling_laugh:

But truthfully, the 209 and the 210 are supposed to weight the same so that does seem a little heavier that she should be, unless you had a lot of gas and play toys in her...

Actually, I've heard tandem trailers for 20'-22' boats weigh about 1250-1300 lbs. Taking gas, toys, larger engine than standard, etc. into consideration and I think you're about right.
