New owner with a open bow question

I am the new owner of a 1996 Talari 220z and it is my first open bow. My question is should the pass through windshield be closed when moving? I don’t see a way for it to be secured if it is open.
I don’t really want to break something that is not easily replaced. Thanks

Doesn't matter. Use it open or closed. I prefer it closed.
