1st time in 5 Years
 

Wanted to expand on my introduction post and provide some background info. Thanks to everyone that gave me pro tips before running her around the lake!

I was given a "free" 96 Talari 215 that had been sitting neglected, open and uncovered for 4+ years. I live in OKC, boat was in CO Springs. My buddy and I went out to assess the situation and bring the ole girl home. Well, hours of cleaning out trash/draining the boat and new wheels/tires/bearings on the trailer later she was in my backyard ready for spring (total cost: $1200).

So my free boat sat with a giant tarp on it through the winter to address come spring. I posted an introduction post to ask a few basic questions about what to do with a Mariah that had been sitting for years and got some great responses.
This past Saturday, I took her out after a few tips and some basic maintenance...she ran great! Even more impressive, everything worked! I mean everything! So now I have to decide if I should resurrect the dirty old thing or call it a day and cut ties.

Upholstery is 100% shot, trailer needs brakes & coupler, gelcoat is non-existent. I ran the boat for 3+ hours ranging from 1k-4k rpm with zero problems and lots of smiles!

Any advice/tips?
