99 Z252 Ladder latch question
Noticed swimplatform ladder cover/hatch doesnt have a latch to keep it down on my boat. Not sure if its missing/broken or if they just didnt come with one. I really dont see a place where a latch mechanism would have gone. can someone confirm whether its suppose to be there or not? thanks.

No latch on my 99 Z280. Gravity holds it in place.

Re: 99 Z252 Ladder latch question
I am in Piermont at Cornetta's. Used to spend lots of time in Croton but it is too noisy on weekends now. I have been in some pretty rough water like NY harbor and never saw the cover move.

Re: 99 Z252 Ladder latch question
I don't have a latch or anything on my '99 Z280 for the fiberglass ladder cover, nor did I have one on the 2000 Z250 I had either. The Z250 didn't even have a fiberglass cover. It just had a snap strap to keep the ladder in place.

Re: 99 Z252 Ladder latch question
There are no other sandy beaches like Croton that I am aware of but if the water is relatively calm I like to go to a little cove in Philipse Manor, just north of the Sleepy Hollow light house. Not really a cove but it is out of the way and quiet compare to Croton. Plenty of water so you can back almost in to shore.
