Tachometer removal
 

I want to remove the tach from my z275st. Anyone have a trick to remove it? Let me know if I'm wrong but it appears I need to take apart the dash. How is the wood grain piece the instruments are in attached?

You should not have to pull dash. You might have to remove drivers seat and kick panel and get at it from underside?...that how most boats are built...it held in by rear bracket with nuts from the back of dash...there will be some 4 letter words at random thru out the job, but that's where I would start.
