Throttle Cable 2001 180 Diablo
 

Hi there…
I’m wondering if anyone knows the part number for a replacement throttle cable?
2001 Diablo 180 Merc 4.3L. There was a number printed on the side of the cable on the carburetor linkage (3992617) not sure if this is Teleflex or SeaStar? I’ve been having a problem with the control box acceleration lately. It seams very stiff in moving it forward and once set to the speed I would like it to be it continues to accelerate the engine until I pull it slightly back a bit. My first impression is a replacement cable, but I have read online that it might be an adjustment? Thank you in advance if someone knows what cable I should buy.
