My Mariah saw the Eclipse
 

We were lucky enough to get a almost a direct hit from the Eclipse yesterday and I thought it would be nice to spend the day on the lake. Center Hill Lake was maybe 4-5 miles south of the centerline of the path of Totality. It was an incredible sight I must say if you were not able to view totality.

I'll post just one picture of the sun with a black hole in it during totality. You can barely see the water at the bottom of the frame. The lake is not a great place for pictures of this due to motion and a tripod on land would have been better when it became darker or using zoom to capture the sun. But being on the lake made it that much more memorable. The extreme difference in intense hot sun to the bright but no heat was very weird for sure, then dark but not as dark as I imagined. Just for fun I had the anchor light on and it became quite visible during totality.

Our little Diablo worked perfectly for the day also.

Wow, that is pretty dang cool! We only got a 90% eclipse in Oklahoma but it was still an interesting phenomenon. Wish I had been on my boat:)
