Bimini for 1991 Diablo

Hi all. We picked up a 91 MX Diablo last summer and have been enjoying it in lakes around MN. I rebuilt the floor over Memorial weekend, and now I am looking at adding a Bimini top. I am having trouble deciding g between the 68-72" width or the 73-78". Can anyone guide me or show me what you have on your 18' Mariah?

So we are probably looking for about the same if I'm thinking your boar is very similar to my 01 Diablo. All these years and I've talked about but never purchased one. One reason I would like a Bimini that stores in the back under the sundeck like the OE canvas does and no idea if that is even possible and what would fit ?

We have that rain/storm canvas that goes on the windshield but it is too short for shade during the day when climbing around and trouble to mess with. We used to use it and put the tubes on top when our kids were little.

In any case ours measures right at 72" between the hinges on the side glass for the OE canvas. I was looking at 72" long 3 bow with 36" height, maybe 42" if I mount to those same hinges but 48" height if I put hinges inside or outside on the hull instead.

Would like to know what dimensions other have used and happy with and what brand & fabric. The price range is from about $200 for basic white canvas from 'National Bimini Top' to almost $500 for Sunbrella and some better hardware from people like Taylor Made.

And then will any of those store other than folded down which is still in the way.

Check the height of your sundeck enclosure as well. Mine mounts to the boat and they sit at an angle in the hatch. Not a big deal unless you store lots of stuff in there and have to pull it out to take out or replace the bimini.

I am looking at a 3 bow with rear legs. 46" high, 6' long. They are very reasonable on Amazon, so I figured I would give it a shot. I don't see anything that is shorter height?
