Need Help!!
Need some help from anyone that knows. I have a 2000 Shabah 250 cuddly and I am getting water in the boat, I am pretty certain it is coming from the bellows, no big deal, getting that taken care of. Here is the confusing part..... When the boat takes on water, even though there isn't enough to turn on the bilge or even pump out if I turn it on manually, I get water running up into the edge of the cuddly right below the step down from the cockpit. Does anyone know is there a second plug somewhere to stop water from coming forward from the bilge or if maybe i have something else going on?? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Sorry do not have a cubby. Does the water only run when the pump is on? Did you chase your discharge hose to see if it has a leak?

Re: Need Help!!
Maybe I didn't explain myself very well. I can pump the water out when i turn on the bilge, so i know that the floor of the cuddy and the bilge are all one area underneath. I just cant figure out how to stop it from getting up into the cuddy and stay back in the bilge area only.

Ahhh, now I understand. It is Monday morning. My best guess would be no, but hopefully Shabahz280 can chime in. You might look at some pictures of people that replaced their floor. I recall a shot with everything remove so you could see what is under it.

If you have a drink cooler built into the floor like me there may be a possibility that that has a hole in it. Or the drink coolers drain hose has a hole in it. Also check to see if the hose running from the bilge to the outside has a hole in it. It may run right behind the cuddy. And have a hole in it there. |
