Guys,

Anybody thow what the overall length of the boat and the orig Chariot trailer would be? Trying to figure out if this darling is gonna fit in the garage. I have about 20 feet from back wall to garage door.

Anybody???

Hi peppe,

It may fit if you can get it in a little sideways...

The Barchetta is 18' 2" and the trailer is going to stick out in front by a couple of feet with the coupler and normally the transom sits at the end of the trailer out back so you'll have the sterndrive and prop sticking out beyond that so figure on a few more feet there for a total length of around 23' or so...

You might be able to get the length down to 20' with a folding tongue kit. They can help reduce the length by a few feet. Click here

Good luck,
WetWilly

I have a 20' deep double garage & mine wont fit unless i turn it on an angle.

I concurr! (Did I spell that right?)

I know my garage depth is at least 20 feet or more. I have a 10 foot wide door and enough room to put my Talari 180 at a 15 to 20 degree angle.

I wouldn't want to try to back at an angle with an 8 or 9 foot door!

We have a 93 Barchetta Z on a Trailmastertrailer; overall length is 18'10" and it barely fits in our 23 foot deep garage. We have to put the lower unit down most of the way.

They make trailers with swing away tongues that shorten the trailer considerably for storage.

Definately won't fit. My garage is 26' deep, finished inside would be about 25' 3" and my boat fits nice straight in. With the outdrive hitting the back wall I might have 3' to spare up front so I would guestimate that you need about 23' minimum.

i'll have to measure mine for you
i have a 95 182 also
my sister has a 94 Falcon 18' i/o also
and i have both of them in my garage

back it in
take it off the car and you can push it around on the wheels and tounge wheel at an angle to try to get it right
