Re: 1994 Shabah Z212 questions

Night and day difference!
Planes much quicker, slow speed steering is like a different boat. And the extreme list in a tight turn, especially left, is dramatically better.
Why did you choose the lower weight? Does your Hull have the inset in the center that mandated putting them farther inboard than recommended?

Yep. Best upgrade for your boat per $.

Re: 1994 Shabah Z212 questions

Mine are mounted just like yours fix1. I have just too much stern lift in anything but the lowest setting. I'm looking for some adjustment, especially when for when I'm loaded lighter than usual. I'll let you know how things work out Firestone. Might be 3-4 weekends from now though! Waiting on the weather and my sun deck to be finished.

Re: 1994 Shabah Z212 questions

My findings:
21 pitch 3 blade 14.75" aluminum Mercury prop @ 1000ft wot 4600 rpm.
80# trim tabs on lowest setting improved handling greatly.
Kept the lower pitch prop for skiing but the current setup cruises@ 35mph at 3500 rpm which I find comfortable. Top end 44 GPS.
Thanks for the help.
