Hi all, just joined as I'm looking at the brand and I'm trying to gather a little knowledge on it. I've searched on here about this but came up short- What is the difference between a model number and the same model with a Z in front of it. I gather it is an upgrade in niceties, but what are those extra items, and how can I tell if a boat is a true Z or not?

Each mariah was custom ordered with various option. The Z package has them all. Captain call, power seat, etc. Mine has the z202 eched in the glass. The Vin will tell you for sure.

Mine does not but it also could have been ordered with the z package and they requested the captains choice be deleted I honestly do not know

Mine does not have the captains call nor does it have the power sun deck lift.

Well I stand corrected. Mine has both, windshield wiper, and defroster.

Corsa still has those exhaust tips that where specifically designed for the first gen mariah's.
Z packages ranged, if i can remember reading on here correctly, as a specialized list of options, ranging from the mariah indy graphics all the way up to the customers choice of motor. And a ton of options in between, maybe through hull exhaust was one of them, captains call maybe ,not sure if the silent choice was introduced back then?
By far the z250 is my favourite mariah, hoping one day to own one!!

My 1993 2350Z does not have captains call, but it does appear to have all the other "Z" options.
