I replaced the stock bulbs for the courtesy lights with led bulbs and it made a huge diffrence.

That really IS nice! I've been playing with the courtesy lights on and off (pardon the pun).... I will definitely go to this if the above photo is the result.... Thanks!

update.... they have been in for a month... I have been using the boat a good bit and have had zero issues with these bulbs.

I'm interested to know how to go about replacing the bulbs? I have a set of 194 LEDs ready to be installed, but when i removed the 2 mounting screws holding the light fixture on, the whole fixture comes off, but not apart. Does this fixture split apart? I don't want to force it, as I don't want to shatter the old plastic. Anyone with an opinion?

A few of mine where stuck together also. I just used some pressure and they did come apart. Just becareful. They have been married together for 20 years.

This is my before and after pics of the LED lights installed on my 202 Shabah. These bulbs give such better lighting and color then the original. I even went ahead and put these on my truck as well.

[emoji1360] I love the look of them I just wish I had more lights. I only have three that are visible and two in the engine compartment. I will post some pics later on of the led lights that I'm gonna add.

How many bulbs would I need to hit all the lights possible in my 1997 272 Shabah? Assuming the sea trial goes well in 2 days I'll be bringing her home. The only plans I have for it are an interior deep clean and a full hull polish/wax. This lighting upgrade seems super easy and very worthwhile.

You get 10 LED's in one pack, so you would just have to count how many lights your boat has. You should be good with one pack. My 202 Shabah only had 5. The rest I installed on my truck.

I put these in cuddy and not one of them worked. I then replaced one the the curtesy lights by rear seat and it would not fit in the holder all the way. Anyone else had this problem?

I had that VERY issue. The LED arrayed light bulbs would not fit in the stock fixtures because they were too long.....
So, with a sigh, I ordered new LED based 194 bulbs that are the same length and shape of the standard 194 bulb....

If the bulbs that you bought wouldn't light up, then you should turn the bulb 180 degrees.
