Carver 3 pole Bimini Top brace kit Question?
 

Hi all,

My 1996 Z255 Shabah has a 3 pole Carver bimini top and one of the plastic ends broke from the mounting pole so I ordered all stainless steel fittings along with a brace kit to keep the top from laying down on my gunwale.
First ? is when I install this brace will i still need the rear straps to mount or will the brace hole the rear of the top?
Second ? has anyone installed one of these brace kits? If so do I just put the top up as usual then mount the brace kit to the poles for reference on where they should go?
