Exhaust tip removal Z250
 

Hey Guys,
I'm a new owner of 2000 Z250 with the 454 and Captain's call set up. I have the large oval exhaust tips and need to replace the exhaust hose that clamps onto the tip. There is a"false transom" that covers nearly this whole section of hose so I am unable to reach the hose clamps on the backside of the exhaust tip. does anyone have experience removing these? I really don't want to mess up the tip or any of the fiberglass. Please let me know if I've done a terrible job of explaining and maybe with your help I can better clarify my situation.
