I have a Z280. It came standard with a Westerbeke generator. I can't find a model number on it... Does anyone know where I can find the model number? Or does anyone happen to know the model Westerbeke that came in that boat? Thanks!

I believe Mariah primarily used Kohler generators in their factory installs, however I have seen a few Westerbekes in photos, whether they're replacements or OEM, who knows! I've got a Kohler 4ESZ 4kw generator in mine, this was the largest they offered here in the states, they also offered a 3.5kw for international export models.

At any rate, there should be a model number listed on your generator housing somewhere. Can you post a photo?

I have a Westerbeke generator in my 28Z and I need to find out the model # so I can get a carb rebuild kit. The model # is missing from the plate as well as serial #. Did you find out what the model # is?
