From that I know of these boats, I would say about 3500lb dry weight and a 50 gallon gas tank.

Close guess cptbraine31!
Brochure lists the dry weight with stock engine at 2450lbs and a 40 gal tank! Figure a full tank of gas adds 336lbs, coast guard gear, and batteries add an additional 100, and the weight of the 350 mag engine (vs stock engine) probably is an additional 100lbs, you're probably close around the 3000lbs mark, not factoring in the weight of the trailer. |

That is good information to know. I was considering the trailer weight also. I guess I should of thought about it more before answering, but hey, I learn something new every day. :wink_thumbup:

Something I still want to do with my setup is go to the weigh station down the road at the landscape shop. That will remove all the estimating.

I don't blame you at all. I really need to do the same thing. I have a 1998 Mariah Talari 221. I pull it 45 minutes to the lake with a 2007 Dodge Ram 4.7 liter. I was worried that my truck would not have enough power to properly pull my boat but I have had NO problems at all with it. I love my Mariah boat though.

Heavy... lol. I guessed 4k based on the specs, and it feels like every bit of 3800 - 4300 to me behind a Durango 5.9L R/T AWD. Mine is a 99 shabah 202 w/ wake tower and steel dbl axle trailer. I've been wanting to attempt a tow w/ a 2wd 2012 explorer (tow rating of 4500lbs) but I am worried the FWD won't pull it back up the ramp...
