Ole' man winter
2000 182 Shabbah
Putting the old girl away for the winter. I winterized it about 3 weeks ago. We've had freezing temps since then. Now it's time to put her in the barn for 5 months. I put "Downy" dryer sheets in every compartment, fogged the engine, and have "Sta-Dri" in two places under the cover (Fore and aft). I'm hoping I've done enough to keep the critters out, and keep the interior dry. Is there anything I've missed? Or can you suggest something I can do to further insure a damage free winter. |
Re: Ole' man winter
Ive been in the habit of resting the trailer on railroad ties to keep the axles and tires from holding up the boat in one spot for X amount of months. I had replaced the original axles due to them being sagged out. They were torsion axles.
