Bravo 3 Pivot pin / steering pin play
 

I'm look at a 95 z275 with a 502 and a bravo 3 dual prop out drive. While I was looking over the boat I noticed that the bottom pivot pin on the gimble ring seems to have a lot of play front to back. Maybe a 1/4" in either direction. I can't imagine this is normal. Anyone have any input or experience. Thanks!

I have re done my gimbal ring do to this. There is a ton of info on Google to read into over sloppy gimbals. I personally had my gimbal repaired like this: http://www.jrmarine.com/products/gimbal_repair.htm
