Mariah 302 Swim Platform
My wife and I just purchased a 2000 Mariah 302 that we are going to see on Friday. It seems that the back swim platform sits quite high out of the water. We have two small kids and one on the way, so the closer to the water, the better. Can anyone provide feedback that owns one on their thoughts about the height above water?

pain the butt in my opinion for both lil and big kids alike.

You will need to add an aftermarket platform to get close to the water. I added one from swimplatforms.com to my Z280. They are not cheap but worth every penny in my opinion.

Re: Mariah 302 Swim Platform
The stock platform is nice but fairly useless. It does however work nicely as an intermediate seat when you install an aftermarket one on the rear. I just put one on my 98 202 and LOVE it. Sits about 3" above waterline, but when everyone is at the back of the boat it sits flush with the water. We spent countless hours on the back of the boat this summer compared to last year.
Not sure on the 302 maybe someone else can help you out? I have seen a couple threads about rear exhaust getting in the way so you might want to look around for that stuff... Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk |
Re: Mariah 302 Swim Platform
Thanks for the input. I am seeing the boat for the first time tomorrow and plan to leave purchasing it but we were very curious about this. Keep you posted!
